Therapist’s Writing Circle

In 2023, I launched the Therapist’s Writing Circle, an intimate writing critique group for therapists who write.

This is what past participant’s had to say about the group:

Lauren is a generous facilitator, offering insight into the works presented that often haven't been considered. Her facilitation allowed for input from all participants.- Megan

Lauren has been great as a facilitator of this writing circle as well as critiquing work and helping elaborate on ideas and craft. She has a warm and welcoming style which helps when you are nervous about sharing personal writing. - Sanchana

What is a writing circle?

A group of like-minded writers who meet regularly to share writing excerpts, workshop ideas, critiques and encouragement.

The Therapist's Writing Circle

The thought of sharing your writing may spark anxiety but this is a safe space with like-minded people. A place for therapists to explore creativity, vulnerability and writing processes with other people who get you.

The opportunity to get feedback on your writing can help you hone your writing technique, boost confidence and deepen your writing practice. We can learn so much from others' writing processes and styles.

Don't want to share? Come along for the accountability, support and community. Or ask any pressing writing-related questions that you have.
